Winch House is open to the public again
(Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm)

The Coronavirus pandemic is impacting services at Winch House. We have been directed by a number of authorities such as Surf Coast Shire, the Department of Health, and Neighbourhood Houses Victoria to do our bit to slow the spread of the virus in our community. Some of these directions are optional, some are mandatory.

Restrictions apply when visiting Winch House, including wearing a mask, signing in and out, sanitising, social distancing, maximum people per space etc.

Our childare service continues as normal, with an increased level of hygiene such as frequent washing of hands and surfaces. We do expect that any family that has been in contact with someone who has cold or flu-like symptoms to self-isolate themselves, and stop their child(ren) attending childcare. Similarly, any family that has been in contact with an overseas traveller (from anywhere) should self-isolate. The more we can all do to limit and slow the spread, the less our health services will need to deal with at once.

For further information on the Coronavirus (Covid-19), please refer to an official and trusted source such as the federal Department of Health. Beware of rumours and conjecture that you may come across in social media and in conversations, there's a lot of rubbish circulating.

We'd love your ideas on how Winch House can help build the Winchelsea Community through group activities, adult education, and getting people together.
