Auspicing is a process through which an established organisation takes legal and financial responsibility for a project or group that lacks formal structure — allowing them to access funding, receive donations, and enter contracts.
Winchelsea Community House currently auspices five local groups, lending credibility and support to initiatives that align with our mission of community connection and wellbeing.

A welcoming space for young people to connect, build friendships, and participate in fun and meaningful activities.
WYLD (Winchelsea Youth Leisure & Drop-in) is a valued local youth program operating under an auspice agreement with Winchelsea Community House. The group has previously provided a welcoming and engaging space for young people to connect, build friendships, and participate in a range of fun and meaningful activities.
Over the years, WYLD has hosted Friday evening drop-in sessions, skate park events, excursions, and recreational activities that encouraged young people to feel connected and involved in their community.
We are excited about the opportunity to bring WYLD back and are currently seeking enthusiastic community members to join our volunteer team. With the support of local volunteers, we hope to relaunch the program in the near future and continue providing positive recreational and social opportunities for young people in Winchelsea.
