There’s a wide range of opportunities for you at Winch House. From regular weekly activities, through term-based programs, to one-off events and exhibitions, it’s always changing.

And we’re ALWAYS on the hunt for more. If you have an idea (and ESPECIALLY if you’re thinking of organising/running something), please get in touch.

Volunteer

Volunteering is incredibly rewarding on a personal level – and adds great value to the organisation you volunteer with.

Winch House could not continue without its volunteer helpers. Why not call in during office hours and see if there’s something you might be able to take on?

Opportunities include reception, garden maintenance, handyman, barista, admin, childcare, social media, publicity, photographer… and lots more. If you have the time, we’d love to see you help us out. No particular skills or experience necessary.

Please note – Working With Children is required due to the presence of the childcare service.

Committee

Winchelsea Community House is directed by a voluntary Committee of Governance, with a Chair, Secretary, and a number of Members.

The Committee is responsible for oversight of the organisation, ensuring financial sustainability and correct operation, plus setting overall objectives and strategic directions.

Winchelsea Community House operates on a tight budget as an independent non-profit funded by a variety of government and non-government entities.
